I am entering week 15 of using the product Play Again Now…an oral, berry-tasting gel hyuluronic acid (HA). This product is similar to that used in multi and single shot knee injections like Synvisc. HA is produced in the body…but less as we age.

As you know, I still play competitive hoops, and were it not for this level of competition, I’m pretty sure I’d not be writing this…because I wouldn’t have been too concerned with some discomfort at my age in life given my sports history and injuries.
What I’ve found, however, is that my joints haven’t hurt since taking this HA product! I’m just “looser” on the court when I play basketball, and feel much better when I awake each morning. Of course, I have some stiffness when I get up…but much less than before I started taking Play Again Now.
My workout regimen is to lift twice/week (fast-paced, non-stop leg/arm workout for about 40 minutes). Twice a week I try to play 3-on-3 hoops, and once or twice I do some spinning or swimming.
This week, I’ve added a second aerobic routine each day…a 30-40 minute fairly aggressive workout on my home elliptical machine. I get my heart rate up to 135-145 and try to maintain that for the middle 20 minutes of my workout.
THE RESULTS?
My basketball game on the court continues to return to that of 20 years ago. I’ve also decided to try running in one full-court league this year. I had given up full-court hoops last year…and my knee feels pretty good…it certainly doesn’t feel like I need to consider total knee replacement surgery as I was ready for immediately before I started using Play Again Now!
Several of my hoops buddies have started using Play Again Now. One is 63, the other is 52. The former claims that he feels “much better all over” especially when playing hoops. The other, a former Division 1 Center, and recent knee surgery patient, had had trouble running and jumping. He has been using the Play Again Now for two weeks and claims he’s beginning to notice less pain in his bad knee!
